So tell me all about this stand…Our HydroPad® stand is the most functional, economical, and versatile hydro stand out there! It was designed around the popular American Agritech 4×4 Flood Tray (see photo above) but will fit most other brands of flood trays.
The basic configuration will hold a full-sized 4X4 ebb and flow tray (with 24 large buckets).
With a quick and easy change of 2 support bars, it transforms into platform mode, which will hold up to 16 “top drip” Bato buckets, 16 wick Autopots, or a full-sized 4X4′ lettuce raft.
See the top drip garden setup below:
- Set up this PVC hydroponics stand with a “split plan”, half pots, and half lettuce raft.
- Hang a T5 fluoro over your raft and an HID over some Batos.
- Or just hang one strong HPS over the entire 4X4′ spread.
- The combinations are limited only by your imagination!
Super for vining crops, The HydroPad® stand provides not only a sturdy base of operations, but it also holds the grow lights at any height, and as high up as possible to allow optimal space for vining crops (no holes in your ceiling). It provides a strong framework for trellising or tying your plants UP for maximum production.
We just love our stands and are proud of the clever design that allows this stand to be used for so many different hydroponics garden configurations.
Your new hydroponics garden project deserves a proper launching pad…. why not build it a HydroPad®?

Stella and Simon, a couple of back-to-the-land, baby boomer enthusiasts, have embraced the world of homemade hydroponics on their three-acre plot of Florida piney woods. Their journey began after drawing inspiration from Epcot Center’s hydroponics exhibit, and they've delved into various hydroponic methods, experimenting with different systems, configurations, and crops both indoors and outdoors. Their expertise culminated in the creation of an innovative homemade hydroponics greenhouse, documented in their book, Simon’s Super Simple On-the-Grid, Off-the-Grid Hydroponic/Aquaponic Survival Greenhouse.
