A Mesa, Arizona, man is accused of stealing packages from front porches for more than two months, and police are looking for additional possible victims.
The suspect was identified as 28-year-old Luan Nguyen. According to AZFamily, police said video showed Nguyen taking packages from homeowners’ porches between March 27 and June 5.
Nguyen was arrested June 9 after police allegedly found stolen items in his home. Investigators said the merchandise was worth more than $2,800.
Deliveries often sit in plain view after drop-off, giving thieves a short window to grab electronics, household supplies, gifts, clothing, medication, or anything else left outside.

FOX 10 Phoenix reported that investigators believe Nguyen was connected to more than 15 package-theft incidents from front porches in Mesa, along with one similar incident in Gilbert.
Mesa police said the thefts happened after packages had been delivered to residents’ homes. In those cases, the vulnerable moment came after delivery, when boxes were outside and visible from the street.
Some Items Were Allegedly Sold Online
Investigators said some stolen items were kept for personal use, while others were sold online.
Nguyen was booked on felony charges of theft, trafficking in stolen property, and possession of dangerous drugs, according to FOX 10. The charges have not been tested in court.
Detectives Are Looking For More Victims
Police said the investigation is ongoing as detectives work to identify additional victims and determine whether Nguyen may be tied to other package thefts.
AZFamily reported that anyone who believes they may have been a victim, or who has information connected to the thefts, was asked to contact Mesa police at 480-644-2211.
The U.S. Postal Inspection Service advises people to pick up mail and packages promptly, arrange for a neighbor or friend to collect deliveries when they are away, use hold-for-pickup services, and request a signature for important shipments.
