Disney is Bringing Avatar to Niagara Falls With a New Attraction Where Visitors Can Explore Pandora
Pandora is coming to Niagara Falls next spring, but not as another Disney theme park ride. Visitors will get to explore the world of Avatar on foot before watching a live acrobatics show.
Niagara Parks announced on October 14 that AVATAR: Guardians of Eywa will open May 17, 2027. The attraction will be located at Table Rock Centre, right beside the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side.
Disney Theatrical Group and James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment have licensed the experience. A Montreal company called EMM Williams Productions is putting it together, with Moment Factory handling the design.
The attraction is called a Magic Walk, which means guests will move through different areas before reaching the live show. According to the ticketing website, the whole thing should take about an hour.
Visitors Can Explore Pandora’s Rainforest and Coastal Reef

The first part of the attraction takes guests through two areas called the Rainforest and Coastal Reef. Both will have interactive displays where visitors can learn about and interact with the plants and animals found on Pandora.
There will also be large multimedia environments and special effects. Niagara Parks says the experience will include technology such as robotics, although it hasn’t explained exactly how that will be used.
After walking through Pandora, everyone will move on to a live acrobatics show about the Na’vi cycle of life. The performance will include acrobats, choreography, and cinematic visuals.
Niagara Parks has released some early artwork showing what the attraction could look like. The agency noted that the designs aren’t final and could change before opening.
The New Avatar Experience Is Also Coming to Thailand
Niagara Falls will be the first place in the world to host AVATAR: Guardians of Eywa. However, the production isn’t being made just for Canada.
In July, Thailand’s Asset World Corporation announced that the attraction would also be coming to Asiatique The Riverfront in Bangkok in 2027. That version is planned for a space covering more than 4,000 square meters.
The company said the Bangkok attraction will be housed in the Blue Dome, a structure originally created for Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan. An opening date hasn’t been announced for the Thailand location.
Tickets for the Niagara Falls Avatar Attraction Aren’t Available Yet
The Niagara Falls attraction is scheduled to run from May 17 through early September 2027. Niagara Parks hasn’t released the exact closing date or ticket prices.
Visitors can already sign up for the official waitlist on Fever. Those who register will get access to ticket sales 24 hours before tickets go on sale to everyone else.
Table Rock Centre is located at 6650 Niagara Parkway, next to the Horseshoe Falls. It’s also home to Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara Takes Flight, restaurants, and shops.
