2 Adults Arrested After Back-to-Back Underage Parties with Hundreds of Teens
Law enforcement officials in San Diego County were likely suffering from déjà vu the weekend of Sept. 11, 2026. That’s because they were called out to break up multiple underage house parties throughout the weekend, with one of them involving hundreds of teens.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office posted about the incident on its website, saying that the trouble began on Friday just after 11 p.m., when Imperial Beach Sheriff’s Substation had to respond to complaints about teens blocking a cul-de-sac in Bonita.
After that, Sheriff’s Deputies were called back out on Sept. 12 at around 8:30 p.m. to respond to a massive party at the same home. This time, the person who called it in explained that the party had been posted on social media, and there were posts showing underage partygoers drinking alcohol. There was also a concerning post that said someone at the party had a gun.
It looks like multiple agencies responded, including California Highway Patrol and deputies from the Rancho San Diego Sheriff’s Station. Two adults were arrested as a result of the incidents, as well as a 17-year-old.
The Sheriff’s Office Says Hundreds of Teens Were at the Party

According to the report, an estimated 75 underage partygoers were at the Sept. 11 party, while 400 were believed to be at the same party the following night. Both parties took place at the same residence near the 5500 block of Amadita Lane.
A helicopter, K-9 Unit, and multiple deputies from different agencies were called in to deal with the incident. Despite the large size of the gatherings, only one of the teens was arrested. That was an unnamed 17-year-old who the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office says was charged with DUI by California Highway Patrol officers.
Homeowner Sargis Dallakyan was allegedly there at the time of the party, as well as an 18-year-old Mario Vargas, who was the alleged host of the second night’s events. Both were arrested and issued citations for Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor and Social Host violations.
Fortunately, No Injuries Were Reported
Other than the three arrests (the one DUI, plus the homeowner and host), it sounds like officers were able to clear out the teens without incident. Still, it looks like both Dallakyan and Vargas are looking at some legal trouble. That’s because the Simmrin Law Group says that a standard Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor charge can result in up to one year in county jail as well as a fine of up to $2,500.
Meanwhile, the law offices of Greg Hill and Associates say that first-time offenders charged with Social Host violations are typically just fined anywhere between $250 and $2,500. Of course, both of the arrested parties remain innocent until proven guilty.
