Six Flags Bought Ride ArieForce One From Fun Spot Atlanta, But No One Knows Where It’s Headed
If you never got to ride ArieForce One at Fun Spot America Atlanta, you may have another chance in a few years. Six Flags recently bought the roller coaster and plans to reopen it at one of its parks.
Unfortunately, Six Flags hasn’t said where the ride is going, and it will not reopen for people to ride until 2028 or 2029.
ArieForce One gave its final rides in Fayetteville, Georgia, on August 2, which was also the last day for Fun Spot America Atlanta. The coaster was much newer than the park and had only been open since March 31, 2023.
That gave it a little more than three years to build a following. Six Flags said some coaster fans traveled from across the country and around the world to ride it.
Six Flags Hasn’t Revealed the New Park Yet

According to Six Flags, the coaster will be taken apart and moved to its new home. At its new park, crews will then rebuild it and make some changes before opening.
The company did not release a list of possible parks or reveal how much it paid for the ride. The ride will keep the name ArieForce One, which was created in honor of Fun Spot America founder John Arie Sr.
ArieForce One Reaches 64 MPH
Rocky Mountain Construction built the steel roller coaster, which stands 154 feet tall. Its first drop sends riders down 146 feet before the train reaches a top speed of 64 mph.
ArieForce One has approximately 3,400 feet of track and four inversions. A full ride takes about two minutes. It also has the world’s largest zero-gravity stall. Other sections include a Raven Truss Dive and an outward-banked airtime hill.
Fun Spot America Atlanta Is Permanently Closed
The Fun Spot America Atlanta website now has a thank-you message where its ticket and attraction information used to be. It confirmed that the park permanently closed after its final day on August 2. The company still operates its two Florida parks in Orlando and Kissimmee.
