What should have been a simple drink order at a Miami restaurant turned into a two-hour disturbance. The unusual encounter began when a customer allegedly tried to use a card that did not work.
Ugo Patierno of Primo’s Italian Restaurant said Richard James Scott then asked to charge the drinks to his room at the nearby DoubleTree by Hilton Grand Hotel.
When asked for the room number, Scott allegedly answered 666 and described himself as the “son of God.” However, Scott was not registered as a guest at the hotel, according to WSVN in Miami.
Staff eventually asked Scott to leave after he allegedly became aggressive. Police were called when he refused, beginning a lengthy interaction that ended with officers using a Taser outside the property.
The restaurant dispute lasted approximately two hours

The official WSVN Facebook video shows portions of the disturbance and Scott’s arrest on Saturday, Aug. 8. Patierno said Scott entered Primo’s on North Bayshore Drive and ordered a drink. After the payment problems and the odd room-number claim, Scott allegedly refused repeated requests to leave.
Video recorded inside the restaurant shows him seated at a table with a towel covering his head. Miami police eventually escorted him from the restaurant and hotel lobby. Patierno told WSVN that he felt frightened because Scott had allegedly berated him, his wife and other people nearby.
He allegedly tried to enter someone else’s Rolls-Royce
The incident continued after Scott walked outside. According to At Local 10 News, he approached an orange Rolls-Royce and allegedly tried to enter it, even though the car belonged to someone else and the owner had walked up.
Officers instructed him to calm down, but he allegedly reached for the vehicle again. Cellphone video then shows police using a Taser before officers place him in handcuffs. Scott was booked on charges of trespassing after a warning and disorderly conduct. A judge later set his bond at $650 and ordered him to stay away from the hotel and restaurant.
The charges remain allegations and have not been decided in court. Patierno told WSVN that he forgave Scott, although the bizarre room-number request will probably remain one of the restaurant’s more memorable moments.
