“In 2025, biophilic design is an ethos that threads through every design style, from organic modern to high tradition. Skylights flood interiors with daylight, living walls breathe life into rooms, and the tactile richness of raw wood and stone defines spaces. Nature is no longer an accent; it is the foundation,” she explains.
Warm Earthy Tones

It seems that people are longing for a cozy living space this year. Richardson says that millennial greys have officially taken a back seat, and homeowners are cocooning themselves in mocha, ochre, and terra cotta tones.
“These hues wrap a space in warmth, creating a comforting embrace amidst external chaos. Saturated, nature-inspired palettes are setting the tone for interiors that feel grounded and inviting,” she explains.
