Flight Attendant Wrestles a Woman After Frontier Passengers Get Stuck on Plane After Landing

Passengers on a Frontier Airlines flight were stuck on board after landing in Atlanta, and things got ugly near the exit door. Video shows a flight attendant wrapping his arms around a woman before pushing her away.

Frontier Flight 2052 had arrived from New Orleans on October 6, and some passengers had already gotten off the plane. The airline said a problem with the jet bridge prevented everyone else from leaving.

A passenger posted a 13-second video on TikTok showing a woman in a gray hoodie screaming for the door to be opened. Another passenger can be heard yelling at the flight attendant to get his hands off her.

The person who filmed the confrontation later explained in the comments that the woman was trying to get someone’s attention outside the aircraft. Her mother had reportedly passed out while everyone was waiting to get off.

TikTok user @tavi.dinero said passengers had been sitting for about 30 minutes without air conditioning, water, or regular cabin lighting. One woman began hyperventilating before passing out, and the passenger said her body was shaking.

The woman in the gray hoodie was her daughter. The TikTok user claimed her mother had been unresponsive for five to eight minutes before the confrontation.

A Frontier worker was standing outside the door, and the daughter wanted to get that person’s attention. The TikTok user said she was trying to bang on the door rather than open it herself. The passenger also claimed that some people had already gotten off the aircraft, including one of the pilots.

Frontier Says Jet Bridge Repairs Took 27 Minutes

Frontier told Paddle Your Own Kanoo that the flight landed in Atlanta about 20 minutes early. The plane reached its gate, and passengers began getting off before the jet bridge stopped working properly.

According to Frontier, the bridge was no longer lined up with the aircraft door. The remaining passengers couldn’t leave until maintenance workers got it back into position. The airline put the repair time at 27 minutes.

The TikTok user had a different estimate, saying they had been on the ground for 35 to 50 minutes. The video’s caption also claimed passengers spent an hour without air conditioning.

Frontier said the flight attendants made announcements about the delay, but @tavi.dinero said passengers weren’t told why they had to stay on the plane.

The rest of the passengers were able to leave after the jet bridge was reconnected. Frontier apologized for the discomfort and said it was still trying to get more information about the incident.
