Austin’s long-awaited COTALAND theme park finally has an opening date. It will officially welcome the public on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026.
The 30-acre amusement park is located beside Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas. Its grand-opening celebration will run from 4 to 10 p.m., beginning with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and ending with fireworks.
Visitors can now buy tickets and view the park’s initial operating calendar. COTALAND will reopen from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27, before moving into a schedule that primarily includes Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays in October.
COTALAND confirmed the opening date in an official announcement published on Aug. 18. The park has been in development for several years and previously missed projected opening periods.

The official reel confirms that the park will open from 4 to 10 p.m. on Sept. 26 and directs visitors to purchase tickets online.
Opening day will have shorter hours than many later operating days. Visitors planning a trip should review the official park calendar because hours vary by date.
Circuit Breaker will be one of the featured attractions
COTALAND is advertising more than 30 rides and attractions for children, families and thrill seekers. The lineup includes Circuit Breaker, which the park describes as Texas’ only tilt coaster. Part of its track tilts riders into position before releasing the train down a steep drop.
Other advertised attractions include the 150-foot Cloud Flyer swing ride, the Soggy Logger flume, Downforce, the COTALAND Express, a carousel and several smaller children’s rides.
The park’s website says it will continue rolling out additional coasters and family attractions throughout the year. Visitors should check the current ride list before their trip.
Tickets begin at $65
A Forbes report says tickets begin at $65 per person. Prices vary by date, and COTALAND also offers any-day tickets and season passes.
Standard admission includes the rides, shows and attractions inside the main park, but parking is not included. Hot Lap, Speed City, karting, and several other premium activities require additional fees. Tickets are available through the park’s official website.
