Disney Just Revealed a New Lounge Inside Its Next Disney World Resort

Disney World in Orlando, Florida, has announced a new resort, and now the company is giving fans a look inside the brand-new lounge that will be featured inside. The lounge, called Branch & Brush, will open inside Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge when the resort opens on July 1, 2027.

Disney gave fans a first look on October 1, just before reservations open for those planning to stay during opening week. The lounge will be located right past the lobby with stunning views of Bay Lake.

The lounge is themed to the changing seasons, featuring a color-changing chandelier and seasonal artwork.

While Disney gave a sneak peek at what the lounge may look like, it has not yet announced what kind of food you can expect. They only confirmed handcrafted cocktails.

The chandelier will be the centerpiece of Branch & Brush and change colors to represent the four seasons, with the rest of the room following the same idea.

The sneak peek shows large windows facing Bay Lake, with seating spread around the lounge.

Another lounge is coming to Lakeshore Lodge too. Dandelion Terrace will overlook Bay Lake and have views of the Magic Kingdom fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant.

Disney said Dandelion Terrace will have a two-story gallery with artwork from movies including Fantasia.

The Lobby Has A River In The Floor

Disney also gave a sneak peek at the new resort’s lobby, showing a fiberoptic river running through the floor and around a bronze centerpiece, featuring characters from various Disney animated movies.

The lobby draws some heavy inspiration from Pocahontas, and a blown-glass Colors of the Wind sculpture will be made from hundreds of suspended glass leaves.

Reservations Open October 6 for next year

Lakeshore Lodge will have 967 rooms with regular resort rooms, studios, villas and Lake Houses along Bay Lake.

Some of those Lake Houses will have one bedroom, and others will have two. They will also have private porches, full kitchens, and Brother Bear artwork inside.

Disney Vacation Club members can start making rental reservations on October 6. Annual Passholders can book on October 7, followed by everyone else on October 8. The resort officially opens July 1, 2027.
