Baltimore National Aquarium is Bringing Back Adults-Only Nights and Adding Underwater Yoga
Have you ever wanted to do yoga while surrounded by sea life? Now, you can at the National Aquarium in Baltimore this fall.
The aquarium announced its fall and winter 2026 event lineup on Sept. 18. Two upcoming events are Aquarium After Dark and Morning Yoga: Underwater Flow.
Aquarium After Dark is for guests 21 and older, and staff will check IDs at the door. The remaining dates this year are Oct. 28, Nov. 19 and Dec. 17.
Meanwhile, the new morning yoga sessions give visitors a chance to work out before the aquarium opens for the day. Those classes are held right in front of the Dolphin Discovery underwater viewing area.
Aquarium After Dark Is Just for Adults
Embedded media follows. Please allow a moment for it to load.
Aquarium After Dark gives adults a chance to walk through the galleries after regular hours without kids around. The Oct. 28 event runs from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
Tickets cost $59.95 per person or $47.95 for members. Your first special cocktail or mocktail is included, along with a 4D film showing. Snacks and other light food are also available for purchase.
You Can Do Yoga in Front of the Dolphins
Morning Yoga: Underwater Flow is led by Marissa Walch, a certified fitness, yoga, and wellness professional from the DMV area. You don’t have to be an experienced yogi either. Anyone 12 and older can participate, and all skill levels are welcome.
The 2026 dates are Sept. 20, Oct. 10, Nov. 22 and Dec. 6. The Sept. 20 class runs from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and costs $70 per person.
Regular aquarium admission is included with the yoga ticket, so you can stick around afterward and check out the exhibits. Just remember to bring your own yoga mat.
There Are More Ways to Visit for Less
If neither event works for you, the aquarium also has Half-Price Friday Nights throughout the fall.
Those are separate from the adults-only nights and are listed on the aquarium’s regular events calendar.
