New LEGO Space Adventure is Coming to The Henry Ford Museum in Michigan
If your kids love LEGOs and space, The Henry Ford Museum is giving you a new reason to visit this fall. Artemis Adventure with LEGO Bricks opens at the Dearborn museum on Oct. 18.
The interactive exhibition allows kids to build lunar landers, race rovers and figure out how people might live on the moon or Mars.
The exhibition will remain at Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation through Jan. 3, 2027. Members can see it one day early during a special preview on Oct. 17.
Artemis Adventure is included with regular museum admission, and members can visit for free.

According to The Henry Ford, the activities are based on real problems connected to NASA’s Artemis missions.
Visitors can design a solar-powered moon base and test a lunar lander. Another station lets them race LEGO rovers across a rough surface meant to resemble the moon. They can also create a habitat for Mars and bring their drawings to life with an interactive projection.
Some Models Feature Over 30,000 Bricks
The exhibition has several large LEGO models based on spacecraft and equipment. The Canadarm3 model uses 40,000 bricks, while the International Space Station has 29,532.
A model of the Apollo Lunar Module contains 10,749 bricks. Visitors will also see LEGO versions of the Orion spacecraft, Space Launch System and a future Mars habitat.
A full-size Axiom spacesuit, built with 35,911 bricks, is also on display. It took 325 hours to build and doubles as a photo spot.
The Exhibit Is Included With Museum Admission
Single-venue museum tickets currently cost between $34 and $36 before fees. Children ages 5 through 11 receive a 25% discount, while children 4 and younger can enter for free.
Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Prices vary by date, and buying tickets online is cheaper than purchasing them at the museum.
Visitors can also watch Space: The New Frontier at the Giant Screen Experience from Oct. 17 through Jan. 1. Members can watch it for free, or it costs $5 when added to another admission ticket.
